MKE week 21 – The stillness

The stillness, the silence, the sit… whatever you may call it, this is where the magic happens. This is where the mind works out the problems and brings forward the answers. The sit is where you can hear that still, small voice of the creator. Spending time in the silence transforms people’s lives. Magic happens. Peace abounds.

It all sounds so wonderful, yet I struggle with doing this one small activity. This week my mastermind group was discussing the “sit”. Our time to still our bodies and our mind. It is in this stillness that we access the infinite, the collective concious, the divine. It is a part of our daily tasks to be completed and yet I was finding it hard to carve out 15 to 30 minutes of my day for the sit. My house is constantly noisy, interruptions abound. Then there is work, etc, etc. I make excuses. This is the refusal of the call. Refusal to take the heroes journey. Not today! Today I reflected on Sunday’s webinar and realized that the struggles I am having are in part due to neglecting the sit. The ebb and flow of connection and joy is not consistent as I am inconsistent in practicing the stillness and that is where we connect to soursce. MKE 20:9 “Perception will come only in the Silence; this seems to be the condition required for all great purposes. You are a visualizing entity. Imagination is your workshop. It is here that your ideal is to be visualized.”

I sit in silence and stillness each day. No matter how long I sit, I sit and know that as I practice I improve. As I improve so does my connection to all that is, all that I am.

I can be what I will to be. I always keep my promises.

Love and light, Marda
